I am trying sample the uv space in maya uniformly in a 0 to 1 range.
could anyone guide me how to achieve this process.
For 2.6.0 we have introduced uv to location functionality in polygon mesh (it is already available in the escher daily builds http://dist.fabric-engine.com/FabricEngine/escher/). It will allow you to sample the uv space of a polygonmesh
