Strange/Accidental Canvas UI Docking Issue

If the canvas window is open and a double-click is issued on its border, the window docks itself into the Max UI between the viewport and tab layouts. It is possible to recover the panel back out to a window, but I'm posting this because there are some graphical artifacts that make this behavior look unintentional.

The initial size of the canvas window factors into the level of UI artifacting that happens. The bigger the window, the more artifacts are generated due to UI element layering/updating/z-fighting.

    Hi @Judah

    We are aware that is very easy to dock and it looks ugly.

    We have internal ticket FABMAX-35 to disable docking until we figure out a proper docking workflow

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Also docking it seems to disable the ability to type in characters after the TAB command was fired. Looks like a problem akin to many maxscript tools and is probably solved via the keyboard accelerators options.
    Maxscript code for this is

    enableAccelerators = false/true
