Fabric & Kraken setup: ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Hi there,

I'm setting up Fabric and Kraken for the first time. I'm not super technical. I've started with these setup tutorials/pages:

http://fabric-engine.github.io/Kraken/documentation/1.0.0/installation.html#download

I'm just setting up the Standalone Windows batch file for now. But I'm getting a weird error.

Below is the stack trace. Anyone know what might be up?

    Moin,

this is a "frequently asked question". The important bit is this information:
ImportError: DLL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

You need to make sure that you are using 64bit installations (e.g. of Python).

    Marc

That fixed it. Sorry for not checking the FAQ. Thanks, malbrecht!

    Hi,
all fine - not sure if it is in the FAQ ... I never read the docs!

We will need to add a FAQ section in the forums ;)

I'm also getting this error just doing a run on kraken_window.py. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.
