While the RecomputeNormals works as expected in the standalone Canvas, in Modo it doesn't seem to do anything: even if I set the HardAngleDegrees to 0 a cube remains overly soft.
unfortunately the output of Fabric's geometry to modo is not rendered as "real geometry" in modo's viewport. It's a "procedural", hooked in as a locator. You need to freeze/bake the output in order to get a correctly working viewport-display.
There are also UV bugs left in the plugin, so I would restrict my "PICanvas output" use to the absolute minimum: displaying a rough preview of what's coming.
That's why I created most of my procedural geometry for modo into an Alembic cache and read that in from modo (using a trivial script).
Marc Albrecht - marc-albrecht.de - does things.
Oh that's unfortunate, I hope we'll see an update soon. Thanks!
