So the tutorial is the issue then. You need to mark the functions as extern symbols - otherwise it won't build.
The tutorial has been tested on linux - so I think that's the issue here. The __declspec stuff is windows specific.

yes indeed. We are working on a feature to export and obfuscate extensions - it's not yet in the current release - but it's scheduled for 2.7 currently.

sorry but this is not possible out of the box the way our documentation is setup right now. I think it's due to the fact that we only replace words with refs when they are loaded within the ASTWrapper. This is a bug really on our end. I'll file a ticket to resolve this for a future release.

the code of kl files in extensions is concatenated based on the order specified in the fpm file. So if the first file requires another extension it will be required for all of the files. Extensions compile as a single, concatenated file - not as separate kl files.
